Dana Massey, the Chief Product & Technology Officer at Capital.com, has announced that he is stepping down. He shared the update today (Friday) on LinkedIn, saying he plans to take a break.

Massey Departs After Product Leadership
Massey worked at Capital.com for three years. He first joined the company in May 2022 as Chief Product & Marketing Officer. He held that role for two years and seven months, based in London. In that position, he built and led a team focused on guiding customers through the investing process, from advertising to platform usage.
“It’s been an honour to play a part in building and leading those teams these last years. First Product, of course, and then Marketing and Technology. I couldn’t have had a better education working alongside all of you!”

Departs from Role to Take Break
Before joining Capital.com, Massey was VP of Product for Core Consumer at WorldRemit. He worked there for 11 months in London. He led the team responsible for the consumer-facing apps and website.

From 2016 to 2021, Massey held several roles at King, the mobile game developer. He served as Senior Director of New Games, Executive Producer for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, and Senior Director of Publishing.
He was involved in product strategy, game development, marketing, and team management. His work included collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Earlier in his career, Massey was Game Lead and Senior Producer at Flaregames. No announcement has been made about his next role. Massey said he expects to return to work after his break but did not share a timeline.
